Search and Destroy: Competition between Search Engines and Consumer Prices

چکیده

This paper investigates the impact on prices of competition between Price-Comparison search engines. The presence of rivals may lead search engines to increase the number of vendors they list. However, it is unclear that consumers will benefit from this. There is a conflict of interests between types of consumers.
